We are the main counselling association for migrants in Tyrol (Austria).
Our organization was founded in 1985 and is mailly funded by regional labour market office.

Aims of our organisation

  • integration of migrants into the labour market
  • lobbying for clients
  • advocacy: power of representation, right of access records in administrative procedures
  • to remove legal and social placement constraints

Our two main activities

1) advisory service for all migrants employed in Tyrol

anonymous and free advice in 8 languages, legal advice, advice concerning labour market, social law and all labour related interests - also concerning social, humanitarian and cultural interests
Please note: Since mid-ninties we don't work with asylum seekers since mid-ninties

2) national and transnational (EU-) projects -

Our projects focus on following topics

  • Racism and discrimination of migrants (on the labour market)
  • Migration and Integration of migrants
  • Discrimination, integration and labour market policies concerning young migrants (second and third generation)
  • Integration of young female migrants
  • Discrimination of elderly migrants

  • to break new ground for (re-)integration into the labour market
  • additional skills based on clarified potentials
  • to promote higher qualified branches
  • to activate and form networks
  • advancement of a migrant elite

  • trainings on additional skills (ICT, soft skills, applicant trainings, new media)
  • specific measures for girls

  • intercultural mentoring
  • clearing- and counselling instruments
